We only provide customization services for converting existing videos into Flipbook Craft. We do not create animation content.
All visual materials you provide must be your own original work or formally authorized by the original creator.
Flipbook Craft DIY Kit
Each kit includes an instruction manual and printed animation pages. With the help of our tutorial video, you can assemble your own Flipbook Craft. You may choose from our existing animation designs.

Pre-Assembled Flipbook Craft
For a small assembly fee, we can assemble your Flipbook Craft for you.
A motor or coin-operated sensor module can still be added later.
For special finishing options, such as protective lamination or an acrylic frame, we strongly recommend ordering a pre-assembled model, as these options are more difficult to install yourself.

Motor Add-On
All models can be fitted with a motor except the charm-size version (2.5 × 2.4 cm). Power can be supplied by batteries or USB, with USB as the default option.
The motor includes adjustable speed control. An optional control switch can simulate a “pause” effect for prize-drawing applications. Multiple units can also be linked for synchronized operation. For greater stability, we recommend a high-torque silent motor.

Page Lamination
Standard printed pages can withstand tens of thousands of rotations before showing noticeable wear. However, a motorized Flipbook Craft can run continuously as long as it has power. At a normal animation playback speed, it can reach 50,000 rotations in just ten hours.
Page wear is most noticeable when the animation is stopped. During continuous playback, it generally does not affect the appearance of the moving animation. For example, the motorized Flipbook Crafts displayed at my booth have been used for a long time, but the wear is barely noticeable when viewed in motion.
Lamination costs more and may cause slight color differences—the image on the left in the attached comparison is laminated. Therefore, I generally recommend lamination only if you plan to display the Flipbook Craft as a collectible artwork or resell it in the future.
Box-Style Enclosure / Clear Acrylic Frame / Silent Motor
The standard model features a triangular structure for easy handheld use, while the box-style model is designed for vertically stacking multiple units in a display. Please see the exhibition videos on the Home page for examples.
The silent motor produces very little operating noise. When combined with a clear acrylic enclosure, it also helps reduce the sound of the pages flipping, making it suitable for quiet environments such as offices and galleries.
The current acrylic model has been improved with a fully interlocking assembly system and no longer requires the fixing screws shown in the photos.
Coin-Activated Sensor Coin Bank
In addition to a motor, you can choose a coin-activated sensor module. After a coin is inserted, the animation plays for a preset number of seconds. It is suitable for random-selection activities such as divination blocks, stock market predictions, or deciding what to eat for dinner.
Please note that the infrared sensor will not operate properly outdoors under direct sunlight.
The kit includes an Arduino board, relay, and sensor, so it costs significantly more than a standard motor. It is best suited for interactive booths and events. For home use, we recommend a standard motor with a push-button switch, which provides a similar effect at a lower cost.
The standard-size version uses a cardboard enclosure, while the mini version uses a custom-made wooden box. As a result, their total prices are similar.
Coin-Activated Sensor Coin Bank with Sound Module
This version adds synchronized sound playback to the animation. You can transfer an MP3 file of up to 8 MB to the module using a Mini-USB cable.
To synchronize the animation with the audio, the device includes a control knob that allows the playback duration to be adjusted from 1 to 31 seconds.
Please note that this device requires three independent power supplies—for the sound module, motor, and sensor—making installation and operation more complex.
