Flipbook Craft Specifications

The dimensions refer to the display area of Flipbook Craft. In addition to the six sizes listed below, a full-width version (17.2 × 9.7 cm) is also available.

When creating your artwork, please keep important elements, such as faces, away from the center line to prevent them from being cropped.

Aspect Ratios

The standard landscape and portrait formats use a 4:3 aspect ratio, equivalent to 1440 × 1080. Videos recorded at 1920 × 1080 will be cropped by approximately 30%. Please keep the visible area in mind when preparing your artwork.

Wide Format Option

The standard landscape format is 12.9 × 9.7 cm (1440 × 1080). For an additional fee, it can be upgraded to a full-bleed 1920 × 1080 format (17.2 × 9.7 cm), providing a wider and more cinematic viewing experience.

Portrait Format Limitations

Longer pages take more time to flip, which disrupts the persistence-of-vision effect. Therefore, a full-bleed portrait format without cropping is only possible with a synchronized dual-layer Flipbook Craft.

The specifications above apply to single-layer models. Multi-layer options include a 17.2 × 17.2 cm dual-layer model and a 30 × 30 cm triple-layer model.

These designs currently support up to 24 frames per animation.
